Persons, organizations and adopt a management style. The typical behavior patterns that people in an organization to get things done through people, forms management style. These behaviors must meet several requirements.
Activities of organizations often have a distinctive degree of risk and a typical speed of feedback on actions. Based on these characteristics are four typical management styles.

“Tough guy macho”
- In this style, people take big risks and get quick feedback on their decisions
- Examples include police board, surgeons, film directors, soccer coaches
- The slogan is: “find a mountain and climb it”
“Work hard, play hard”
- People with this style couples enjoying the work and action center. They must provide permanent performance that involves each little risk. They get them quick feedback
- Examples include software managers, project managers, hotel managers and managers of large stores
- The slogan is: “it’s all in the game”
“Bet your company”
- People with this style frequently take decisions which in the long term depends on the survival of the organization. The risks are so great; the feedback is slow
- Examples are management of space programs or drilling, directors of investment companies and generals in times of temporary peace
- The slogan is: “only time will tell”
- These people focus more on the “how” than the “what” of their actions. The result of these actions is difficult to trace. The risks are low; the feedback is slow or absent
- Examples are directors of bank branches and large civil appliances
- The slogan is: “First things first, easy does it”
A good management style:
- is communicative, social skills and flexibility
- inspires and shows what someone finds valuable
- What are the managerial
- Who performing
- Who has what role in the management process
- the added value of the management
- shows a willingness to take responsibility, make decisions, judgments and use the appropriate power source
- makes people visible and accessible
- Management can only work if it goes through all phases of the management cycle. These are: invent, organize, review and adjust
- A hierarchical tradition that management evaluates subordinates, and will not be judged by them. By adhering to this tradition run the wrong management growth opportunities
- Management can manage his time, energy and talent easily wasted on efforts that require no management:
- flexible, capable, willing staff
- routine, self-correcting or intrinsically satisfying work
- inflexible, highly formalized organization with a strong group cohesion and management without power or authority on major mental distance from employees.
